MSSA does not store persistent cookies on the machines of end-users. A persistent cookie is one that is still present on the machines of end-users after the web browser has been closed. MSSA does use per-session cookies. These cookies are used to identify users while they are visiting MSSA until they leave the site. These types of cookies do not allow us to determine specifically who users are (i.e. names, addresses, email addresses, etc). At no point do these cookies enable us to gather personal information about users or to tie their usage of our site with them as individuals.

email Addresses

MSSA maintains an e-mail list to keep members and other interested parties informed about speed skating related activities. Visitors to MSSA may provide contact information via an on-line form so as to be added to our mailing list. MSSA may also add e-mail addresses to this list that are collected via MSSA application forms. E-mailings will be sent out on a regular basis. All e-mail will include an unsubscribe option that will remove the recipient from the e-mail list. Under no circumstances does MSSA distribute or share this e-mail list with anybody.
